I’am a 60 yo male, who had a badly fractured nose at age 16. Sinus fractures as well, due to massive blood loss. Was seen in an emergency room, but never treated. Result, very crooked nose, can see septum in one nare. Poor air movement nasally, especially on left. I have wanted to have surgery for a long time, and the few surgeons I’ve spoken to, don’t make me feel comfortable with possible outcomes? I would be a self pay. Do you charge for a consult? Would you be able to tell me what the procedure would cost prior to committing to this procedure? To the best of my knowledge I will need rhinoplasty with alar graft/s, septoplasty, and possibly skin resection at bridge of nose.
I would be happy to see you, examine you, perform computer imaging so you can get a fairly decent idea of the surgical goals and have my staff provide you with a price quote. Rhinoplasty after trauma or rhinoplasty with a severely deviated or crushed septum or rhinoplasty in a 60 year old are not that rare and nice results are possible depending on the starting point and the condition of your nasal framework and septum. We do charge $100 for consults but it goes towards the cost of your rhinoplasty. The “average cost” for rhinoplasty is around ten thousand dollars including the hospital and anesthesia fees. If you would like to come in and be seen please call my office at 703-481-0002
I look forward to meeting you.
